I bet your all wondering why I brought this up right? Why among all things I could talk about I talk about is a mask, Right?

Let me tell you there is more to the word mask than just some Halloween toy which children place upon their faces to scare each other silly or for some cosplayer to wear to emulate their favorite hero. In truth the word mask is something with more meaning than an object, The Mask I am talking about isn’t the physical one, I am talking about the metaphorical one.

A Mask that doesn’t cover the face, Or the physical aspects of ones self.

It is the one that hides their true selves; we each know that feeling maybe once, maybe twice, not now, or maybe later. We will still feel it. The fact we are embarrassed with ourselves, about who we are and the slightest quirks we all have; we hide them behind our masks and become someone we aren’t.

Like a new student in highschool who wants to be part of the popular group will hide behind a mask, trying to fit in the wrong way. For when you put on that metaphorical mask you will change your own being into something else and soon after that we will forgot what hides behind that mask.

I have no right to say so but maybe people should accept who they are; all their quirks, blemishes, and strange mannerisms.

Instead of pulling a mask over their faces we should instead toss it aside. Let our quirks and blemishes be seen , Let it mature and prosper, that’s how it was always meant to be, It will grow and if people don’t like it well forget them.

People will grow to accept your quirks and mannerisms, if it doesn’t we learn and mature we become better people in the process of our life.

It doesn’t matter what others think about you it’s what you think about yourself that matters. So if people don't like you, well then, tough for them.

In conclusion a mask is something you wear with a Halloween costume.
Let them accept you for who you are and not who or what you want them to think of you.

All That ever mattered is who you are and who you will become that makes wearing a mask stupid.
